Southland Conference Tennis Tournament Bracket
NEW ORLEANS – The New Orleans men's tennis team has secured the No. 2 seed in the Southland Conference tennis tournament in Beaumont, Texas as the field was finalized.
UNO completed Southland play with a 4-1 record with a lone loss to Texas A&M-Corpus Christi, which improved to 4-0 against league opposition with a 7-0 victory over Lamar on Thursday. The win over LU provided the Islanders with the top seed and at least a share of the conference championship.
As the No. 2 seed, the Privateers will face in-state rival Nicholls State on Saturday, Apr. 27 at 10 a.m. in the semifinals of the Southland tournament. TAMU-CC will challenge host LU in the other semifinal.
UNO defeated NSU 5-2 in the teams' previous meeting on Feb. 2 at the University Tennis Center.

Burzis Kanga will declare his Southland Conference tournament lineup on Monday with the league anticipating an All-Conference squad announcement next Thursday. The University nominated
