NEW ORLEANS – University of New Orleans fans are encouraged to attend a tailgate prior to the Tuesday, May 17th baseball game between UNO and LSU at Maestri Field.
Sponsored by the Privateer Athletic Foundation (PAF) in-conjunction with the athletic department, the tailgate will begin at 4:30 p.m. and will feature free food and drinks.
Tailgate visitors will also have an opportunity to join the PAF, contribute to the 'Drive for 55' and/or make a sport-specific contribution to the Privateer athletic department.
UNO fans are encouraged to wear their “Privateer blue” and help cheer on the baseball team as it begins a four-game homestand to conclude the regular season.
The contest against the Tigers will begin at 6:30 p.m.
Fans attending the game are asked to enter the UNO East Campus by way of Press Drive with all cars subject to a $5 parking fee – cash only.
Individual game tickets are presently on sale for the UNO-LSU baseball game and all other Privateer home baseball contests.
Tickets for the LSU game are $15 for adults and $10 for children under the age of 12. The tickets can be purchased at the Lakefront Arena Box Office, TicketMaster.com or by calling the UNO athletic department at (504) 280-6102.
