Biography

o Pre-New Orleans: Played one season at LSU-Eunice and hit .320 with four home runs and 20 RBIs last year.

o High School: Four-year letter winner at St. John High School...Was a three-time All-State and All-District pick and was district co-MVP as a senior in 2008...Hit .450 with five home runs and 44 RBIs as a senior and hit .475 with eight home runs and 45 RBIs during junior campaign...Was also an All-State football player as a sophomore in 2006 -- playing tight end and middle linebacker...Also ran track and was part of 4x200 district championship squad. 

o Personal: Son of Gary and Ellen Ourso... Has an older brother, Brian, and a younger sister, Jennifer...Majoring in business.
