State Champion Chandler Sullivan Becomes First Signee Under Carlisle

Sullivan led West Feliciana to state championship yesterday

NEW ORLEANS – A day after leading West Feliciana High School to a Class 3A championship, Chandler Sullivan signed a national letter of intent to join the University of New Orleans. Sullivan, who placed second individually at 16:39.7, becomes the first signee under interim head track and field and cross country coach Adam Carlisle.
 
He will compete in cross country and the 5k and 10k on the track. Named academic all-state as well, he plans on majoring in naval architecture and marine engineering. Also lettering for the West Feliciana baseball program, he is the son of Clint and Stacey Sullivan. He has two siblings, Taylor and Michael.
 
"We are excited about Chandler and adding another state champion to our distance group," said Carlisle. "Chandler comes from a great high school program under coach Nick Smith and will fit in extremely well with our group. He will make a smooth transition to college. He's a great student and we are excited about Chandler joining us next season."
