NEW ORLEANS – The Privateer Athletic Foundation will be hosting a “Privateer Potluck Tailgate” on Sunday beginning at 11 a.m. prior to the University of New Orleans baseball game against West Georgia.
An event with the intention of bringing students and the UNO community together - fans are encouraged to set up their tailgate just south of Maestri Field to join in the festivities.
The concession stand within the ballpark will open up at 11 a.m. with student-athletes having the opportunity to dine on a burger or hot dog, in addition to chips and a soft drink provided by the PAF.
In addition, the first 200 fans in attendance will also receive a free Hubig's apple pie.
Tickets to the game are free for students when presenting a valid UNO ID. General admission tickets are $2 this season as Maestri Field undergoes a renovation project.
