NEW ORLEANS - The Privateer Athletic Foundation and the UNO International Alumni Association are teaming up to a host an 'Alumni and Friends Privateer Pre-Game Party' on Saturday, Nov. 19.
Open to Privateer fans of all ages, the festivities will get underway at 2 p.m. in the 'Spotlights' lounge at Lakefront Arena prior to the 4 p.m. UNO men's basketball contest against Southeastern (Fla.).
An intimate 2,600 square foot entertainment space, the recently-opened 'Spotlights' is located at the ground level of Lakefront Arena and is accessible via a private entrance to the north side of the arena box office.
Tickets to the event can be purchased at a cost of $30 and include a courtside ticket to the game, complimentary food and drinks, as well as access to a cash bar. The room will be open to partygoers starting at 2 p.m. and again during the halftime break.
UNO head men's basketball coach
Mark Slessinger will give a pre-game 'Chalk Talk' shortly after 3 p.m. and there will also be appearances by Lafitte and the Privateer cheerleaders.
In addition to giveaways from both the UNO athletic department and UNOIAA, all participants will also have an opportunity to win an all-expense paid trip to Hawaii with the Privateer basketball team in February and much more!
