2008: Was second on squad with 27 appearances...Mark ties him for seventh on school’s single-season list...Had 11 strikeouts and did not allow a run in first 5 2/3 innings pitched ...Came on with bases loaded and one out in bases loaded jam against Tulane on March 4 and got an infield pop out and a flyout to close out his first save...Pitched well in only appearance in NCAA Regional, striking out two and allowing one hit in 1 2/3 innings against Southern Mississippi on May 30.

2007: Was rarely used reliever throughout much of season but was a huge part of Sun Belt Tournament win...Tossed four innings of scoreless relief in Saturday win over Middle Tennessee, allowing Privateers to save relievers Stephen Whalen and Adam Campbell for championship game against Louisiana-Lafayette...Made 16 appearances and was extremely effective when possessing control (13 walks in 25 innings).

Pre-New Orleans: Spent 2006 season at Nicholls State and was 3-3 with a 4.91 ERA in 17 appearances as a freshman...ERA was second-lowest on team...Made six starts on the year and struck out 34 in 58.2 innings...Opponents hit .257 against him...Was a two-time Honorable Mention Southland Conference Pitcher of the Week.

High School: Four-year letter winner in baseball, football and golf at Central Catholic...Was a two-time Class A baseball MVP (2004, ’05) and was an All-State pick in ’03 and ’02...Was also an All-State football quarterback in 2005 after throwing for 3,100 yards and 31 TD passes...Was listed in Who’s Who Among High School Students.
