ANNUAL GIVING
Funds raised annually are primarily used to provide scholarship expenses for our student-athletes. Annual giving is also applied to improve our facilities, all student-support services, travel expenses and equipment.
MATCHING GIFTS
The company you work for could assist you in increasing your level of giving with a matching grant. Your gift along with your company’s matching gift equals your total annual gift and qualifies you for membership benefits at that level.
GIFTS IN KIND
Providing goods and services in lieu of cash is another way to show your support and help to greatly reduce athletic department expenditures.
Donations of items that would normally have to be purchased (such as meals, catering, pinting, equipment and other commodities) produce a savings to the overall athletic budget.
PRIVATEER SCHOLARSHIP FUND
Scholarship fund gifts are an excellent way to pay tribute to a family member, friend, alumnus, or former UNO student-athlete, and to ensure continued support for Privateer Athletics. These gifts are invested with other contributions to maximize financial return. Recipients will be selected by the PAF Board, and funds are allocated on an annual basis.

TAX INFORMATION
Your gift to the PAF is tax deductible. However, according to IRS guidelines, institutions such as the University of New Orleans have the
responsibility of advising the donors of the fair market value of goods and services received in recognition of your gift. Your gift acknowledgement will contain this information. Consult your tax advisor for more information.
