NEW ORLEANS - The University of New Orleans tennis team will not be
traveling to Jackson State as scheduled on Friday afternoon due to
inclement weather.
The match between the Privateers and Tigers was originally scheduled for a 3 p.m. start and was to represent the first UNO men's match of the spring semester.
The Privateer women have now had three matches called off due to weather during the first two weeks of the season after last weekend's trip to northern Louisiana to face Louisiana Tech and Grambling were also postponed.
Each team will hit the court this coming week as the Privateer women host regional rival Southeastern La. at 2 p.m. on Monday while the UNO men take the court on Feb. 12 at 2 p.m. against Samford.
